I am posting this here for help.
I also posted this at military.com forums looking for some help.

I am an immigrant. Not your normal immigrant. My Mother brought me here when I was about 8 years old. I have attended school since 3rd grade. I am well educated and I do not think of myself as an immigrant. I speak just as well as you guys, I am very well rounded and im the nicest guy around. I have a highschool Regents Diploma as well.

The problem is, I have not been able to get my papers. No Green card or anything. I have 2 years of college in me and no where to go. I would go home...except, I have been here since I was a child and, here is all I know of as home. I do not know anyone in my former country and I have no one back there.

I pretty much thought of joining the military. I dont want to hear I do not have a green card. INS wont help me. I do not believe myself to be an immigrant. I dont need a piece of paper to prove my love for my country. I was hoping someone could guide me through to joining the military.

Once again I just want to make a better life for myself and without any papers for myself it wont happen.

Some of you might say go through INS... Are you kidding me? They are asking me to go back to the country of my birth(which I mention I dont even know anyone there nor do i want to go back) And If I leave here they will put a 10 year restriction on me ever coming back. On top of that I would be put in line for a 9+ wait in line to get back into the country I think of as home.

I know from reading this many of you are thinkin of that immigrant should leave. I wish it was just that easy. But I am the guy you went to school with or your best freind. I think of myself as an american just as you guys. This is my home.

I read the immigration sticky at the top. I was hoping someone could help me in finding a recruiter or just givign me some tips in what I should do to join the armed forces. Any help would be great.

2 of my best buds are in the military right now serving in japan and Iraq. They dont know of my illegal status because of shame on my part. So I come to you guys.

I do believe that I saw this in mil.com and they gave him some answers over there.

I guess he was a wantabe or a troll. Shame we could had some fun with the assclown.
