Hey everyone my name is Kyle and I’m interested in joining a military branch where I can get training in a management field and mechanics field. I am currently in my second year of college and I’m just not getting what I want out of it. I have always been very interested in the way things work and have working in various automotive shops, and even opened my own business. That is where the management comes in I would like to be able to tie this into mechanics while getting the type of education and discipline only the military can offer. My goal is to open my own shop and run a successful business in the future (among other automotive ventures). I have spoken with my local recruiter and I cant seen to get a straightforward answer about anything, Nor can they provide any detailed job descriptions. The only thing that was described semi well was the pay, which to my knowledge goes up to a different tier after you have taken 32 credits at a college. I’m also unsure as to how your base is selected, and whether you have any say over that at all. Due to all of this I am extremely confused as to where to start so I figured I would get on a site where I can talk to people who have been though various military Jobs and experiences. All help is appreciated, help direct me where to start looking!
My questions will probably keep coming as I learn more, but thank you in advance for your response. |
