Hi, I'm a 20 year old Filipino- American born in raised in US and currently am staying here in the Philippines. I finished my Bachelor's degree in Flying last June and obtained my Philippine Commercial Pilot's License and planning to convert it to FAA when I get there.I'm planning to join the Airforce soon. Next month I plan to go to Hawaii where my mom stays, and apply in the AF there. As other people have q's about the AF I do too. I want to know what and how I should prepare while I'm still here. I've heard of Commissioning of B.S degree graduates through OTS and am aimimg for that. Is it that easy to be accepted for OTS?... And I'd appreciate it if someone could give me specific dates of OTS... As I've read though in this forum, I've heard application takes time (2 months) How come?.. Will I really have to wait that long?... I know it's hard to become a pilot in the AF, but I won't let go of my goal and initiative. People here think I'm crazy because I could easily get a civialian flying job here. But I feel honored in serving America and I believe It's in the military where professional pilots are born.

Hmmm, at this rate it looks like I should be charging the Air Force for fielding all these questions!
