Why is it I can't find anything, any reference on the web about my first duty assignment?
37th Aviation Depot Squadron, 812th Air Base Group, Walker AFB, SAC, Roswell, MN. Find lots about Walker AFB, 509th and the 6th Bomb Wings, but if it wasn't for the 37th ADS there wouldn't be any use for all those airplanes. We stored, serviced and maintained the weapons those SAC Bombers carried. I was in the 331xxx carrier field at the time. Then transfered to Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama and on to southern Italy with the Jupiter IRBM. |

Very likely no one has documented anything on this command. I searched using various search engines and came up with a ton of Air Force patches, but nothing else. One could always start by posting a brief in wikipedia as this database is one that allows for anyone who logs in to edit and update.
