I'm currntly located in Qatar. I've been here for about 32 days. Due to some problem with my security clearance I will have to go back home soon. Will I get credit for anything?? (credit for deploying, ribbons etc..) Thank you.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I have some questions for you about Qatar....

My husband is an Air Force pilot and is getting ready to head to Qatar for a year.... What's it like there? What sorts of things are needed (ie-toiletries, snacks, etc.). Do you have any advice?

Look at the qualifications for the ribbons. Most are just a day in country for service -- longer for campaign. Good luck.

He can pretty much everything he needs here. Since he is here for a year he will be in the BPC dorms which are like a small hotel room and you share a kitchen and a bathroom/shower. Definitly dont forget your sunglasses, sunblock, laptop. There is a wireless connection in those dorms as well so he'll have some way to communicate with always. I you have any other questions let me know.
