I was arrested for a DUI charge in california on the 31st of march, which is a serious offense and shouldnt ever be taken lightly. Unfortunately my ship date for basic in lackland was april 8th 2008 . I was wondering what will happen to me since i am in the delayed entry program...currently i know that my departure is postponed, but i wanted to know what will happen if i get found guilty, and what my chances are of getting a waiver after all of this has been taken care of. Once again i know hwat i did was horrible and inexcusable and shouldnt ever be done, and i guarantee that i wont ever be in that situation again as it has been the worst experience in my life. I am still very hopeful and still extremely want to be completely in the airforce. please give me some insite. thank you for your time

Couldn't tell ya for sure....USAF recruiters can afford to be pretty selective right now....

well im already dep'd in, and my recruiter sounds pretty optomistic. I'm going to fight the charges anyway, if not ill hit up the other three branches because im pretty dead set on defending my country.

If the recruiter is behind you....then you might have a good shot at getting in after this is all over with. But, again, nothing is certain....
