hey all im considering joining the Air Force, but i have bad credit and about 2500 in debt .... will i still be able to join ?

I'm not in the army or even American but this is what I heard, you need to have financiely stability and can only spend like 40% what you earn or something like that, they'll also check your financial history if you ever had depts (if you paid them off nicely they won't make a problem out of it)

They're doing this to keep the US Army's image in order..

Dallen 2500 is peanuts. Don't worry about it. And don't mention it unless they ask.
