My husband and I are both interested in joining the Air Force. We both want to do 1N1X1 imagery analysis. We understand how the joint spouse program works but would it be possible to have the same AFSC and be stationed together? We understand that we will not be able to work under the same chain of command but is this job broad enough that we could be in the same place doing different things under a different chain of command?

Not being one with Air Force background, I can only venture an opinion.
Usually a base will have a single imagery analysis branch and or single command that this AFSC would fall under. What have the recruiters said about all of this? Were they able to offer up any workable options for the both of you? SEMPER FI The Gunny PROUD TO BE AN INFIDEL America is not at war. The Marines are at war, America is at the mall. |

Our recruiter really has not said much either way. He acted like whatever we chose would be fine. All he said to us was that the Air Force does not split famlies up. It just seemed more complicated than that to me. I just assumed he did not know much about it and thought I better do the research myself before we make a big mistake.
