Alright, now I'm filling out this reference thing, and I find how amazing it is how few people I really know. Now in work history I'm stumped. I used to work at a Boston Market but after I quit it closed. So I can't call and get manager info. Should I just put a friend that can say yeah, he worked there?

OK,
Here's a quick and easy way to do this. Obtain your credit reports. This will list all known reported addresses, and timeframes. As for managers names for employment? If the business is out of business and or you know the old manager no longer works there, simply provide a current phone number for the location. Besides, the only real question they can legally ask is did so and so actually work here during this time? If you don't know an answer to a question, and can't find out, say so in writing. Just don't answer 'don't know' for majority of the questions. Point to remember, you must maintain consistency in completion of these forms. You may be asked to fill out another form later on, and your answers to the same questions can be compared. Above all be truthful and consistent. Keep a printed copy for future reference if at all possible. SEMPER FI The Gunny PROUD TO BE AN INFIDEL America is not at war. The Marines are at war, America is at the mall. |
