How do I go about obtaining my training records for my CNA course? I want to get my CNA license in Missouri and I was a CNA in the Air Force back until 2003 and I don't know how I obtain a copy of my training records and my work history from the Air Force. If anyone knows how I could do this it would really help me out. Thank you

Hmmm, I don't think they store or retain individual training records like they do Service Record Books. When I left the Corps, I took mine with me.
Did they issue a certificate of completion for your CNA training? SEMPER FI The Gunny PROUD TO BE AN INFIDEL America is not at war. The Marines are at war, America is at the mall. |

Yes they did. I would think they would have some sort of proof that I completed the courses.

I kept all of my certificates garnered via military training and framed them for my 'I love me wall' in my house.
I take it you didn't retain that certificate? Those can be presented as proof of completion to state boards. SEMPER FI The Gunny PROUD TO BE AN INFIDEL America is not at war. The Marines are at war, America is at the mall. |

ccaley, Check out this site. You can do an electronic request for your DD214 and files from your personnel records. You will have to mail or FAX a signed document to them. I know my Air Force training certificates are in my archived files in St. Louis. I have requested lots of "lost" documents since I retired from the AF in 1993. Hopefully, you will be able to obtain what you need very quickly. Please check out the link below.
National Archives Below is a link to request copies of your Community College of the Air Force transcripts: CCAF "In peace, sons bury their fathers. In war, fathers bury their sons." Herodotus |
