I voted 5.56 Nato. As I understand, isn't that almost standard for most countries? I know even here in saffa-land we use them, as well as other African countries and most West, North, South and Central Europeans.

Hell, even AK's has been modified to take the 5.56 cartridge.

It's easier to pass a gun ban if you call it an assault rifle. Assault implying that it's inevitably going to be used for killing.

Personally, I don't know how some of you shoot rifles, but I can shoot a .308 pretty good. Even a .30-06.

To be honest, if it doesn't have a .3 in the front, you are making them mad.

.223's get the job done, don't get me wrong, but you should only have to shoot them once, so recoil shouldn't matter.
