I just wanted to know what either the best weapon is or the preferred weapon of any military faction?

I was just talking about these self propelled 105's (that's what that is...right?) with a Korean War vet. Awesome and very timely photo (for me to steal). Grrrr.

This is a pic of the ONTOS. 6-106mm recoiless rifles. These were awesome to use, and extremely effective in Vietnam. These were generally attached to support artillery batteries for defensive purposes. A few of these loaded with beehive rounds were very effective in stopping the human wave type attacks.
