hey all. i was looking through some pictures, and i came across the M14 EBR SOPMOD. i think that i looks really cool. i just have some questions about its use.

-what role does it play in units? is it a DMR rifle?
-would the shortened version be used alongside M16/M4s? or purely as a sniper platform?
-what units are currently using it?
-is it only available to the military?

here is a picture of it. the version i'm talking about has a shortened barrel, extending only a few inches from the rails. this picture obviously shows the longer version.

i need really really big ones because im making a model of it in 3ds max for a pc game. and you have to be zoomed in and if its all blurry it wont work thanks in advance

Hmmm, don't think they'll let me check one out of the armory for that purpose. Take it out to the range and pump a couple hundred rounds through it...yeah, but not for that.
