hey all. i was looking through some pictures, and i came across the M14 EBR SOPMOD. i think that i looks really cool. i just have some questions about its use.
-what role does it play in units? is it a DMR rifle? -would the shortened version be used alongside M16/M4s? or purely as a sniper platform? -what units are currently using it? -is it only available to the military? here is a picture of it. the version i'm talking about has a shortened barrel, extending only a few inches from the rails. this picture obviously shows the longer version. |

does any one have some super high quality photos of this gun? i need it lying flat on its side with the picture taken at a 90 degree angle to it.
like these but i need the bigger i need really really big ones because im making a model of it in 3ds max for a pc game. and you have to be zoomed in and if its all blurry it wont work thanks in advance |

Hmmm, don't think they'll let me check one out of the armory for that purpose. Take it out to the range and pump a couple hundred rounds through it...yeah, but not for that.
