Any of the shotguns you listed will more than suffice for bringing down birds. Most states, not sure about your laws up north, require a plug that limits number of shells that can be in the shotgun at any one time. Here in Az its limited to three shells. The way around that is to keep one in the chamber and three in the mag, just don't let the game warden see you shoot four times without reloading. He can then confiscate the weapon and you'll have to go to court to get it back after paying the heavy fine.

Location of the saftey is always a prime consideration before making any new weapons purchase. Regular use of the weapon gets one attuned to that weapon and it becomes automatic when safing it. So it really doesn't matter unless you are regularly using lots of different weapons on any one day. When I go out shooting, I usually have upwards of ten plus different guns. Don't do it as often as I would like, mostly because I have to spend the next two weeks cleaning all the darn things. I like to clean them on the front porch on sunday afternoon as it keeps the Jehovah's Witnesses off the property. You'd be surprised at thier attempts to become totally invisible when they see me cleaning the guns
