This chubby clunker is a kick. And then there are the ones I keep locked up. |

What do you guys think of the chubby revolvers without trigger guards? I must say that you would be hard pressed to see me carrying one of them. They seem like the type of gun that gets fired off unintentionally way too easily!

Elizabeth...The way I see any gun is for protection a trigger guard is exactly that it is protection for the gun in the holster and a safety when you pull the gun out of the holster or even your purse .The reason I would stack up my Colt with any gun on the market is I have had my Python since 1964 I took this gun to Vietnam I had to send it home in 1966 because of a Military change about personal Weapons I have never replaced anything on this gun except I put Generation II pistol Grips on it is solid as a rock I have had other Double Action Revolvers but after a few years I had to replace the Cylinder because of excessive wear but not the Colt.

Sully, my thoughts to the t! I also think that is great that you have not had to replace much on your Colt as it shows that you take good care of your revolver. One must take care of their gun as it will take care of you in return.

" That's Earl..FedEx guy... bagged him at 1200 metres as he was making a left on 10th street.. Got him through the side window...tough shot, sun was glinting off his rear view... yup.. Glock 22 (40 S&W)
-------------------------------- Former C/Sgt: MCJROTC (2006-2008). Enlisting in the USMC August 5th 2010 (my 17th B-Day). Future 0311 (Infantryman) If you wont stand behind our troops feel free to stand in front of them. Every time someone votes Obama on election day, the Bill of Rigts will be in an ounce of more jeopardy. |
