Hello everyone. First, I want to thank anyone in advance who can help me out.

Now, I'm interested in joining either the Navy or the Air Force. I hardly know anything about either, just was wondering if someone could elaborate, or point me in the right direction so I can better understand each lifestyle. (Deployments, living conditions, good jobs, etc.) Basically a feel as to what the lifestyles are like. I'm not really interested in front line affairs, or shooting, or flying, or whatever. I'd like to be more behind the scenes. I would prefer hearing what someone with personal experience has to say instead of reading it off of an official Navy site that may be trying to be persuasive - but as always, any comments are welcome.
