Aloha, We just got a navy officer in our house as a roommate. Now he wants to occupy an existing roommate's room in order to "up-grade". This of will get an existing roommate kicked out of their room of 5yrs. because she cannot afford to compete with the rent offered by the officer ($200 more!) We just want to keep peace and order in our house while our landlord just wants more money. We spoke to the officer about this but he doesn't seem to care about anything else except getting this room. Can he get in trouble for causing these kinds of problems Who can we complaint to without getting him in trouble? pearl harbor honolulu

I realize this reply is a bit late, but there isn't much you can do if your landlord cares more about the money than the person who occupied the room for the past 5 years.
