Yes, I know that this is too much information.

I listened to a presentation on this craft last night. Did anyone run across this ship in Vietnam?

Wow!
Everything I've read about the Riverine Force was an elite group of guys.
If you could tell one story about your service then, what would it be?
Yes,it's a sneaky way of asking you to share your story. Wink

Not much to say I have heard comments you were in the Navy never on the front line but they never rode a Boat up a River about 2 hundred wide to pick up or deliver a Strike Force or to assist a Squad of Marines back to the River knowing Old Charlie had a surprise waiting for you on the back down the River and your Boat will only make about 30 miles an hour and a B-40 Rocket is a heck of a lot faster. The Brownwater Navy has always been in the Elite but it has always been desolved before but now they are better than before because they finally figured that they need Brownwater drug Control.

Sully, you were the first one that I thought of when I heard this. They are replacing the display in the Washtenaw Court House and were letting us know about it at our VFW meeting.

nvrbtdt - thanks for the link and the comments. More people need to know the small things that were so big to so many people during the war.
