New test for political fitness..Just to make sure that all politicians are in tiptop shape and competent to hold office as well as set an example for the regular voting-type folks.. that bastion of democracy, Kyrgyzstan has implemented a test for all members of council and parliament.

President Kurmanbek Bakiev says that all politicians must pass physical tests to prove they are fit for office [ no mental test to see if they're competent to govern, though ]

To encourage a climate of healthy living they will lead by example from the top down. All those seeking office will have to prove themselves in running, jumping, weightlifting and marksmanship and grenade throwing..all vital skills when sitting in government..
got to be able to outrun the angry mobs, jump to conclusions and ships/sides, lbench press tons of position papers, studies, committe reports and countless advisory reports... shoot from the hip, zero in on the big issues, target the demographics..and as for grenade tossing.. well.. if you can't throw sh*t around with accuracy you'll never get elected over the other guy..

Every time I see her though I think of a line in a song I like.

If 2008 is going to be a " Battle of the Babes " for the presidential spot..I have a much better feeling for Condi as Pres over Hillary..
From my vantage point, north of the 49, Mz Rice, though she may lean to the hard right, still has layers of perceived integrity and puts out an image of clearly knowing what she wants and thinks is the way to go..while Hillary just put out vibes that she's in it for personal ambition and self agrandizment...Haven't read anything she says that makes me believe she has a solid concept/belief in where the US should be/go..

Anyone read the latest ' book ' on Mz Clinton?.. real hatchet job from what I hear..low, dirty and crass, full of lies and innuendo, suggestions of sexual infidelity and 'deviant 'behaviour..
why, you'd think they were writing about her husband's time in office...
