I remember Bush's first speech after the Dems took Congress about Iraq's government and military meeting benchmarks. Lets be honest everyone, this conservative experiment has been a complete failure in Iraq and there's no easy way out.

Yeah, I do sound very right and the evidence speaks for itself. A grand failure of continued policy where there is no end in sight. We would save American lives if we left. I seriously think conservatives lack responsibility and leadership to call this Iraq occupation a failure. It's the truth and it hurts. So be a man and take it. Fair Winds and Following Seas |

hmmm, lets hope that when history looks back on all this, we haven't gone from killing them (terrorists) over there, to killing them (terrorists)here.

The benchmarks were not met. And you're right, there's no easy way out. I'd kinda shy away from calling it a "conservative experiment" because that's just plain inflammatory language.
I never agreed with the reasoning for going to war, though I supported the effort once the decision was made. It was these people who also helped make that decision: http://www.argonunya.com/HypocrisyExposed.html |

Great propaganda site. Here on the other hand is the actual roll call. It holds more water than the link you posted.
On the Joint Resolution (H.J.Res. 114 ) A joint resolution to authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq. For those who find reading difficult... YEA's - 77 NAY's - 23 It's funny you have Barbara Boxer, Mark Dayton, Dick Durbin, Ted Kennedy, Russ Feingold and Carl Levin on that other link, when they voted NAY. That is either bad research or just smear. Either way, it is putting the blame on someone else, when instead putting it on yourself. And they say they are the values party? LOL Also, if all the Democrats voted against this bill, they still would have gone to Iraq. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Fox Mulder, Fair Winds and Following Seas |

"It's funny YOU..."
"..instead putting the blame on YOURSELF." Who are you talking to? I didn't build this website, I didn't make any videos, I didn't make these statements. I am not even registered as a Republican. I'm an Independent and far from a "neo-con". I can safely say that I DID NOT support the case going to war (as I stated previously). Unlike others. I am merely pointing out the hypocrisy of those who did make such statements that you seem to hold blameless. You're pushing for an argument. Knock it off. |
