I don't think "He's a dick" describes him accurately... He's actually a nice person.

Personally, I don't believe he is qualified for the position, but that's a purely cold perspective. I don't think him being a dickhead or jesus has anything to do with it.

Demeocraps (liberals), just think, if you guys were in office, our armed services would have nothing to do.... thank Bush for that

Roll Eyes

The armed forces are for keeping the peace and fighting wars when necessary. "Having something to do" includes both.

Maybe you should read some history and not fall asleep during the process.

You better pray to your deity that we never meet in real-life. If your perception of the armed forces is that we invade countries to "have something to do" then you have a petty misconception.

Go drill some air-vents in your skull, please.

No no no no. I do not firmly believe that you guys, as soldiers, invade countries for "something to do". I know that they just dont sit around in peace time. I dont know how to say it but I was just being sarcastic. Sorry if that offended you guys/gals.

1. I agree that it is sad and dissapointing that people think a state of peace is bad because the military is not active, the point of the military is to defend people in conflict so it can end, not to create it! If you actually LIKE war then I'm sorry you are a sicko, I'm not saying war isn't sometimes NEEDED but it's never something someone should LIKE.
2. I myself greatly dislike the president as I disagree with him on most social and economic issues, and while I am not sure whether the iraq war itself was a good or bad idea, I believe he handled it poorly and many things could have been done better.

Here's a good comparison of the Liberal American news media slant on U.S. foreign policy events of the past decade or so - in their continuing effort to convince the American people how to think:

Clinton awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Yugoslavia - good.
Bush awards Halliburton no-bid contract in Iraq - bad.

Clinton spends 77 billion on war in Serbia - good.
Bush spends 87 billion in Iraq - bad.

Clinton imposes regime change in Serbia - good.
Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad.

Clinton bombs Christian Serbs on behalf of Muslim Albanian terrorists - good.
Bush liberates 25 million from a genocidal dictator - bad.

Clinton bombs Chinese embassy - good.
Bush bombs terrorist camps - bad.

Clinton commits felonies while in office - good.
Bush lands on aircraft carrier in jumpsuit - bad.

Clinton says mass graves in Serbia - good.
Entire world says WMD in Iraq - bad.

Stock market crashes in 2000 under Clinton - good.
Recession under Bush - bad.

Clinton refuses to take custody of Bin Laden - good.
World Trade Centers fall under Bush - Bad.

Clinton says Saddam has nukes - good.
Bush says Saddam has nukes - bad.

Clinton calls for regime change in Iraq - good.
Bush imposes regime change in Iraq - bad.

Terrorist training in Afghanistan under Clinton - good.
Bush destroys training camps in Afghanistan - bad.

No mass graves found in Serbia - good.
No WMD found Iraq - bad.

Milosevic not yet convicted - good.
Saddam in custody - bad.

I'm sorry but if you actually believe there is a "liberal bias" in the media, than you are far to entrenched in your rhetoric than I care to argue with.
