You tell me what other commander-in-chief has ever reached into the middle of this kind of incident and pulled out his bodyguard? None that I know of. Bush has very large balls LOL

Does anyone have a link to the video? I'd like to see what it is that TOW Gunner thinks looks so silly. I find it slightly peculiar that the Chilean's attempted to block the President's SSA's. Those men are there to protect the President, and if they're not allowed to be near the President, they can't realistically protect him can they?

I saw the pics but can't find them..thought Bush had chutzpah to spare, that is for sure..I am willing to bet that he did the right thing though, because it beat having the Secret Service guy draw out his weapon and use it, which is prolly what he would have done if it had continued to be a problem and he had been kept from his president.

Think it might have been a breakdown in briefing .. and that the chilean guards weren't up on lapel pins ..
and I think if the agent would have pulled his gun .. it might have degenerated into a really bad scene .. for all .. but Bush did right by the agent |
