This is one of the things we still haven't learned from our past experiences in warfare. It's great to hate the enemy, dispise the enemy and so on. What one NEEDS to do is understand the enemy, and LEARN how the enemy thinks, and then one has a better chance at defeating the enemy. We didn't do that, (well, some of us did, but not enough to make it count) and now we find ourselves having to learn this all over again.
