Did you notice that very few were not acquired by another bank?

That's the thing, all this debt just gets swallowed up and keeps going, going and going. Has the potential to bring down those that aquired it and yet as a member of the bank assuming all this, the members have no real say in it. I mean, in your lifetime (and mine) just how many official bank members meetings have you attended? I've been invited, just never had the urge to actually attend. Couldn't be bothered. Perhaps that's not such a good attitude to take moving forward.

You do know that the Federal Government protests depositors. Investors are always in danger of losing their money.

yeah, but my primary interest in banks is the fact they own the mortgage business. I don't know if I'm lucky or not that mine is with Wells Fargo. I don't even have a checking account with them. They bought my mortgage and I was informed, not even asked.

I don't think attending any meetings would have helped anyhow thegunny. I usually find my bank does far less than I do. I do the paper work, watch my balance etc,.
