0-6 is either captain or colonel? Prove you earned it we have. By the way typhoon what are your creds?

Mulder – you must learn to debate facts and not emotions when debating facts. You have a very limited understanding of the law and the constitution. The fact that you disagree with the concept of law because you disagree with the military does not make you correct.

Also, Wal-Mart is not voted out of a community, it is denied the ability to build in that community but that denial must comply with the zoning and building laws and be applied in a non-prejudicial manner (in most states).

Apparently taking money away from Public schools and universities is alright for military people because they could not make it at higher learning centers around the U.S.

That's very American/Patriotic of them to take away tax payers' money for school funding.

-Funding 2008-
Public Education: $24.5 billion
Military: $700 billion

Public Education is outspent 28.5 times the amount of Military.

Fox, some of us have a higher education. In my state (Michigan) we spend more on prisons than we do higher education. Think about that in your next rant. Also, think of the amount of money spent on beer each year – are we to ban that also (oh yea, we failed at that once). I will fight for my right to drink beer!

What about what the states spend on higher education. That seems to be missing here.

It is okay to be against the war but try not to take it out on the people who have to fight in it. Choices are limited for some people and some people might just disagree with you. All of this is what makes this country so great!

Fox, you missed the point and continue to do so. Maybe you enjoy being an intellectual woodpusher but it is not stimulating for the rest of us.

Perhaps my initial response was a little crude....

Almost ever officer in the armed services has a degree (those that don't are a very rare exception).

Just about every university has a ROTC of some type....wonder where those graduates end up?

Your statement here is disrespectful and ignorant. Either stop and think before posting this crap, or just stop....which might be easier for you.

Go ahead, Google search, it's easy--

There are fewer Officers than Enlisted and not every Enlisted soldier/sailor gets a degree after the military.
