Oh, Yeah! amen brother!!.. Love is in the air!! until ol' B.H. Obama fails to deliver on a promise, changes his mind or just feck's up somewhere and then watch the knives come out and his popularity numbers fall faster than Dubya's... America,, Got to love it.. but FFS!.. shut off the ' tribute/homage newscasts' and 'documentaries' and put NCIS back on.. or House.. or even Law and Order.. I can't take it anymore!! HA!
Rocket, Should have done what I did today. Avoided all contact with TV, radio and internet. Until now. I only heard bits and pieces (for instance, CNN was on in the Pharmacy Waiting Room. Thankfully, I was only there a few minutes). What I did hear of the sycophantic love fest annoyed the crap out of me. I'm glad I managed to avoid it for most of the day. And I live in a Red State. Nobody much cared to even discuss it. Actually, we all chatted about how nice it would be if Ted Kennedy did end up dying at the end of the day. |

Frankly I don't think the loss of that fat drunk would be that much.

Believe it or not there actual black leaders all over the world. They just don't have a bunch of guilt riddled white people to empower them with the gifts of God. As for Ted Tubbendy..? Anybody that has enough land to call it a " Compound " is a twit in my book.

Despite my best efforts I couldn't avoid seeing some of the Obama crowning/elevation to sainthood in replay on the all Obama channel...the only thing I didn't see was him walking on water. For some reason wahtzisname Wolf Blitzer didn't have that piece of video cued up on CNN/Youtube.
So, I'm hoping one of you guys can fgill me in..Has he saved the world yet? I mean its Sunday night.. he must have got something done by now, right? Everyone is expecting it..it was on his list wasn't it? It was comforting, though, to see that CNNbroke out its "Crisis in America Situation Room" to spend 20 minutes on Mrs.Obama's fashion sense/choices..though they didn't comment on the nifty suit B.H.O. wore... and what's going to be his nickname/TV moniker.. Bush was Dubya.. what's Obama's?? " God ", appararently, has been taken... There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |

Oh, but they do. Guilt-ridden former colonial European powers keep giving money-aid to Africa, and the leaders just stuff their pockets full with it, while giving aids to their countries. |

The media exaggerates a lot about the fact that Obama can solve all the problems of the world, no one is able to solve at once all the problems in the world... it's impossible. Usually the general point of view of the world is always against any war in the world, but if we suppose Obama was president of the United States during the September 11 attacks, of course he will trigger a series of anti terrorism Wars similar to that G Bush does therefore in my opinion shouldn't make the mistakes of the current media in the shoulders of Obama. It's always the media and the media behind the wave of Obama want to save for the savior of the world, and everyone is counting on him.
Obama has greet McCain after his victory that gives the true meaning of competition constructively to achieve democracy because that's the ultimate goal. PS: McCain has much work and he needs to relax. Tiger is The Champion |

WASHINGTON – Nancy Killefer, who failed for a year and a half to pay employment taxes on household help, has withdrawn her candidacy to be the first chief performance officer for the federal government, the White House said Tuesday.
Killefer was the second major Obama administration nominee to withdraw and the third to have tax problems complicate their nomination after President Barack Obama announced their selection. "Nancy Killefer has decided to withdraw her nomination, and we accepted her withdrawal," Tommy Vietor, a White House spokesman, said Tuesday. The 55-year-old executive with consulting giant McKinsey & Co., was expected to explain her reasons for pulling out later in the day. When her selection was announced by Obama on Jan. 7, The Associated Press disclosed that in 2005 the District of Columbia government had filed a $946.69 tax lien on her home for failure to pay unemployment compensation tax on household help. Since then, administration officials refused to answer questions about the tax error, which she resolved five months after the lien was filed. Obama's first choice for commerce secretary, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, took his name out of consideration when his confirmation appeared headed toward complications because of a grand jury investigation over how state contracts were issued to political donors. More recently, Timothy Geithner was confirmed as Treasury secretary despite belatedly paying $34,000 in income taxes, and Tom Daschle is still waiting to see if his late payment of more than $128,000 in income taxes will harm his nomination to be health and human services secretary. On paper, Killefer brought impressive credentials to the two jobs Obama selected her for: deputy director for management at the Office of Management and Budget, which requires Senate confirmation, and a new White House post, chief performance officer for the entire federal government, which does not require confirmation. Killefer oversees McKinsey's management consulting for government clients. During 1997-2000 in the Clinton administration, Killefer was assistant Treasury secretary for management. As such she was the chief financial officer and chief operating officer for the Treasury and its 160,000 employees and led a modernization of its largest component, the Internal Revenue Service. But for nearly a month, the administration had refused to answer how its choice to make government workers more efficient and more responsive had bungled her household payroll taxes. The AP reported that on March 7, 2005, the D.C. Department of Employment Services slapped a tax lien on her home in the tony Wesley Heights neighborhood. The local government alleged that just three years after she left the high-powered Treasury post she began to fail to pay unemployment compensation tax for a household employee. And she failed to make the required quarterly payments for a year and half, whereupon a lien for $946.69 was placed on her home. That sum included $298 in unpaid taxes, $48.69 in interest and $600 in penalties. The lien was filed March 7, 2005, but Killefer didn't get the lien extinguished for almost five months, not until July 29. During that period, Killefer and her husband, an economics professor, had a teenage son and daughter, but she had two nannies and a personal assistant to run her life when she was on the road, she told Harvard business students back then. Why does this surprise me that another appointee has to with draw from the Obama goverment, hell after all 99.9% are from the Clinton, Gore origanization and counld not tell the truth if it bit them in the ASS. What I'd like to see happening, is a comprehensive report on all elected officials, now that it appears that those under consideration to hold one of the vaunted positions is or was a tax evader. Screw it, lets get all of them out into the open.

don't suppose anyone's looking into whether Obama paid all his taxes over the years before he was 'given his appointment'...
$900 and that paid off in 5 months and that';s what's killed her from going into the new job?? Boy..who in their right mind would want a job in government given this kind of scrutiny? [ which begs the question then that people who go into politics must be 'crazy' and then that leads to...only the nuts running the country..which, of course, was ' proved' by the election of Dubya - according to some political pundits and certain parties on the ' left' ].. There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |

Ex-Jet Pilot twice-elected Governor of one of the fastest growing states in the USA and twice elected President of the UNITED STATES. He was way ahead of Al Gore too when some funny LIBERAL decided to reveal the NIGHTMARE STORY of George Bush getting pulled over for drinking way back in the 60's. Just last year Obama talked about taking all forms of dope and buying it in an alley etc,. You tell me who is full of it. Never knew being " buzzed " on some old dirt road with some chicks in the 60's was worse than CRACK.
