I see that they got a rather cool reception. These so called leaders in Iran are not well known for telling the truth and why should we expect them to change?

Too true. Iran's "leaders" are very immature, and undiplomatic. Their arrogance will be their downfall.

the same applies to any overly agressive facsit regime. look at the russians. what happened to them? all we ever got was lies, i doubt if the iranian government can fully control the people alone, the only thing holding the country together is the religious leaders, unfortunately for us religion can be a strong glue.

And it could be a very harmful glue. In Iran's case, their religion is extremely dangerous. If it comes to war, it would be good to destroy their religious fervour. That would greatly enhance our cause.
