The number of filibuster/cloture votes has been astronomical since Obama took office. There's no way to deny it.

McConnell filibuster's his own bill, you need a change.

Needing a supermajority to get anything passed is not how Congress is set up.

That's the thing, fillibuster is allowed and is part of due process to get bills passed or not. Makes no difference how many times it is invoked or by who or what party invokes it.

That McConnell filibustered his own bill was smply an indicator of how strongly he felt about passing it or keeping it on the floor rather than allow it to fade away as other have.

Frankly I don't have issue with it or the process.

Democrats will do the nuclear option to the next Republican President. Since that is what the GOP is doing now.

They did set precedent with filibustering every piece of legislation (cabinet members, heads of departments, judicial nominees, and legislation).

The departments will have stronger roles because of the legislature inaction.

Are you joking? Name one promise President Obama kept during his first term. As for President Bush, he kept his promise to protect America from more terrorist attacks after 9/11.
