The History Channel began it's big WW2 in HD tonight and it was a very poor atempt at the same old horse. I actually believe stock film should be used by those who know something about history and it's chronological order. Stock film from Poland is used during a bit on the invasion of France! Wrong uniforms, wrong everything's! And why do they do this 10 times every year? Ever since 9/11 there have been a billion of these WW2 deals going on in every shape conceivable. As strange as it seems I think we are using ( abusing? ) WW2 to fill in for the war on terror. AXIS to AXIS OF EVIL. Both contain 3 enemies too. One problem : No Hitler. Just the idea of a Hitler if we don't keep our eye's open.
