Who's borders? Bush is shall we say "determined" to stabilize Iraq, and surrounding countries, to protecting Iraq's borders, to spreading a more open system of governments in the area, nations of laws - no problem there. I support that.
My problem lies with the fact that from all available evidence - that determination is totally absent when it comes to America's borders. Estimates of 11 to 20 millions illegals here - his solution, make 'em legal. They're willing to do the work Americans won't - without adding for those wages.
Keep on coming, only an estimated 3 million came last year. Bring your families. Big business need cheap labor in order to lessen the wages they pay legal American workers.
And according to Fox, CNN, the border patrol, Mexican Army incursions onto American soil are increasing at an ever faster rate. Chernoff more or less says don't alarm or antagonize a foreign army on American soil. Bush in one of his few prior statements only managed to call the Minuteman patrol vigilantes, and Vincente his Amigo.
So today home owners living on the border are being overrun and threatened by drug runners, MS-13 gangs spreading across the country, taxpayers footing the medical bills, educational costs for an illegal activity - while the Mexican government and their open border lobbies more or less threaten Americans if we pass laws to control the situation
Does anyone see a slight contradiction in this picture?
This situation preceeded Bush by decades, many more on the bandwagon. NAM, Chambers of Commerce, Wall Street, most Democrats, and the educational elite and the media - but Bush is the primary apologist at present.

Fantastic, the scope of what I saw just checking it out is mind boggling. Need some drastic measures if the America we fought for is to have a future resembling our past. At present our politicians are for sale to the highest bidder, and far too many Americans are willing to go along as long as they get in on the spoils.

What the House accomplished last fall, the Senate, Bush, Rove, and the unholy alliance of profiteers I mentioned will spend untold dollars and resources to make sure a slowly awakening public does not regain their voice and control of government. Maintain the status quo is what they're after. Any doubts?
