No matter the country, politicians are all idiots...must be something in the water, as soon as a sane, sensible person gets elected s/he turn into grade A doofus who can't do anything right..

That article does present a sobering view of Canadas' military being stretched way too thin.
Between lack of air assets (Chinooks) and ground forces being deployed over and over,the politicians need to hunker down and figure out a long range plan for her military. Lord knows that after the 2011 pull-out,the Canadian military will be needed somewhere else in this time of jihad and various hotspots erupting.
