That's where my problem was L5 and S1. Mine was a "simple" Laminectomy. Hated to hear the part about where they tell you what could go wrong and what they'd do if it did. Enough to make you want to crawl outta there.

As for the critics, well i'll say this.

Amvet has disclosed to me certain details that could only be known and experienced by somone that has been there. These details were discussed in open conversation, and disccused in total trust.

Yes we have trod the same ground, allthough try to get any gov to admit that.

Even GH, from, " the other place" admits that certain details ring true.

The fact that she does not want to spill all in a public forum, makes sense. PERSEC if nothing else.

Also think on this, I have former brothers in arms that will face the British Courts, because after 20 years they have broken confidence on certain operations.

My claim is not false.

Mike D did it ever occur to you that she may have gleaned the info from someone else? If you check out her homepage on AOL she has what sounds like a hero's tour of duty stations, but not one unit listed, at all. She may have been assigned to a string of no account MEDACs or dinky little detachments, but there has to be at least one unit she was in that she has some sort of pride in? I can't find a vet out there who won't say what unit they were in with at least a small amount of pride. Amvet... nothing.

Not false in that you did not claim the CMB and Combat experiences? Or not false in that you maintain you were awarded it? Because again, you are not on the list of those who were awarded Combat Patches there. No one GH has talked to who was there, knows you. Maybe you should send GH some more detailed information. Like who you were with during this incident. The names of the people you were with. You must remember them right? You said yourself you did not give them to him. All you have to do is E-mail him and it will be all cleared up in a day or so.

You know what, I have no need to defend myself but I will defend the condition of agoraphobia..there is no rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes someone can go out, sometimes they can't. For someone with it, knowing they can have a room to go to..even if it's a rest stop bathroom for a few hours, even if it's a motel room, it helps. So does medication. If someone knows someone with it for a while personally, there is very little doubt ever that they have it. Sometimes one can go a few days or even a few weeks without an attack..sometimes it lasts for a few days or even a few weeks.

This is one of the reasons why I feel a PTSD board would be useful for resources and links. Agoraphobia and panic attacks fall under the umbrella of conditions on has from PTSD.
