OK...
How many of y'all have managed to either get your taxes started or finished?
How many can state without a doubt the literal 'brain drain' is involved?
Did you file 'the old fashioned, time-consuming, paper way', or gone 'modern...e-file'?

It is a brain drain which I stopped 2 years ago. I have neither the time nor the patience for it. I got lucky and found a CPA who is a friend of law enforcement (so it costs me a lot less than someone like Block) and he's retired NG, so he knows what I can and can't take as deductions from my Reserve stuff.

When in doubt, leave it to an expert. Smiler

I go e-file because I like to see if they are doing them correctly. As an accountant, I find taxes a refreshing way to start the day!

If you want to have fun, do corporate taxes, they will put the stale to your bread.

Used H&R Block as we always do, they didn't take enough taxes out on my retirement so I ended up owing 73 to the IRS and it cost me 87 to get them done dang it
