See that Ed McMahon has passed on to the great TV in the sky.. can't remember him ever doing anything other than spending 30 years as Johnny Carson's sidekick/wingman...but..

recall an interview where he was asked what he'd like to be remembered for and, surprisingly, rather than any TV stuff, he wished folks would regard his time in the Marines as worth a note or two..

Good man for that.

I'll raise a glass to Eddie on that in memory of his service to country.
