Hey everyone. I don't know how this is going to rub everyone, but I wanted to post this link, and if you can, watch Eminem's new video, "Mosh." I am not sure if you need to be registered with yahoo or not to be able to listen, but if it allows you to watch it, I think you should. It was just at #11, but it might change. Just scroll down the page until you find it and then give it a listen while you watch the video. You might have to watch it 2 or 3 times, but I just wanted to put it out there for everyone to see. I personally LOVE Eminem, and think he is a genius!! I am sure no one here will be on my side with this, but I truely admire his work. However, I am not so excited about this new song and video. Let me know what you all think...
It's about Bush and the war. Here. |

quote: You really should. I know what you are thinking when you hear it is done by Eminem, but it's not like that at all. I mean this is one of his "stories" he just kinda tells with music and beats in the background. It's not really what you're thinking. A witty saying proves nothing - Voltaire |

I have a twelve year old son who is obsessed with that song and the one with usher and tim mcgraw (i think!) called 'over and over'...so yeah, i've heard it..actually for two songs to have to listen to incessantly they are not bad at all.
And I agree..Eminem is very talented. |

Amvet, "over and over" is an AWESOME song too!! It's with Nelly and Tim Mcgraw, you were very close though!! I am surprised you remeber that.
As far as "Mosh" goes, I like the beat of the song, I just don't care for the lyrics, not the way he is Bush bashing!! BTW, tell your son he has a great taste for music, I listen to both of those songs over and over as well. A witty saying proves nothing - Voltaire |

I agree about the Mosh song..it does draw one in..Eminem is one of the most talented artists out there today, imho. I like all kinds of music, and when in the car, listen to my kids stuff..one of my own favorite songs out nowadays is '1985'...have you heard that one? oh and I'm glad my son didn't see that I mixed up Usher with Nelly..or my daughter either for that matter! lol.

"1985" doesn't ring a bell, but that surely doesn't mean I haven't heard it. Do you know who it's sung by? If you do, I will try and find it where I found "Mosh" at and give it a listen.

Amy, I encourage you to watch the video for "Mosh" if you haven't already. Maybe you will get more out of it, or even a little different view on it. I just listened to it without watching the video, and it's definately different, IMO.

Wow. . .M&M. Not a big fan. I am really not a big fan of any actor/actress, artist that likes to use that so called prestige they have to make statements about the government. They have the education of a fourth grader; and frankly they would get raped in a debate. I haven't watched a Sean Penn film since he went to Iraq. . . and he is a very talented actor. Anyway, to get back on the topic of M&M. . . he is very talented, and rose above a lot of low expectations, and for that I admire him. But if he's gonna start running his mouth about issues of national security(which he knows as much about as the French know about warfare) then my patience, and money will be spent elsewhere.
Nelly and McGraw have a good song. . .that is true. It is better to live one day as a lion, than a hundred years as a sheep. Italian Proverb |

quote: it's on the pop charts now..the song is about a woman that is stuck in 1985.."madonna..waiting for nirvana..music still on mtv..her kids think she's uncool..." I'll see if I can find who does it..think it is a band called 'bowling for soup' |

Haha, yeah I just watched and listened to that video. I had heard it before, I just didn't know that's what it was called. Haha. It's a pretty funny song.
