Well..a guy just can't win..did everything on the honey-do list whilst the missus was camoed up and running through the woods with fit German commandos and other young male macho types..and, now.. when I just want to sit back at the old 'puter and catch up on the latest blogs at Pam Anderson's official website [ http://www.pamelaanderson.com ] [ fyi ] the Good Padre says we got to go away for a few days of ' quality time '....FFS..I don't need to see the moon and the stars, I don't want to stop and smell the roses, I want to read back issues of Winsome Warriors and drink my low carb, fat free, diet near beer in peace before the next season of Desparate Housewives starts [ BTW anyone see the premier of Prison Break ?.. looks kule ]..

So, anyhow.. seems I lost the toss..I leave all my US confreres to sweep up after Katrina as I get dragged kicking and screaming into the sunset..with luck, I'll survive and return sometime in early September..

Keep the bar wiped clean and the fridge well stocked 'til I return and tell Dubya not to invade Alberta for its oil until I get back...
