The Incredibles is the latest movie from the gifted people at Pixar. While their last movie Finding Nemo was geared more towards kids, Incredibles is geared towards younger adults. It is not to say that kids will not enjoy this, but this a movie that the entire family can enjoy. The Incredibles follows the adventures of a family of former superheroes. Superheroes were once welcomed in the Incredible World, but that was until a gauntlet of lawsuits turned the public and politicians against them. Just like a lawyer to turn a good thing bad. Fifteen years later the world is in danger again and that brings Mr. Incredible (wonderfully voiced by Craig T. Nelson out of retirement). Eventually the entire family gets dragged into the adventures and fight against a techno-wizard who has dastardly plans for the world. With the fate of the world in the balance the family must work together and use their powers to save the world. The Incredibles deals with family values and the management of a family. This is the best animated action film to date. It is directed by Brad Bird who also directed 1999’s Iron Giant. The Incredibles other voice credits include Holly Hunter, Jason Lee, and Samuel L. Jackson. It is rated PG and runs about two hours which is a little longer than other animated films. It made me laugh and I am sure others will get their share laughing from this film.
