RE-TIRED! Ok, well I will be. Started terminal leave today. Knocking back a few (well, I'm well into knockin down a few more). Twenty-two years and pretty damn proud of it. And, as many of you already know, my next "duty station" is going to rock! And my last one sucked ass! Not really, had a pretty good crew and I know I'm gonna miss much about the Corps, but am looking forward to my "new life". Headed out to Sierra Vista, AZ next month.

I'm in Phoenix. You know if Sierra Vista ever feels too far out, we have Luke here in the valley, and then Yuma of course has her base.
I'm assuming you picked SV because of its retirement haven status and Huachuca near by for your commissary needs and such. Semper Fi, |

And...literally 'down the trail' from my area. Welcome to the area! The Road of Life does not require a map to follow directions. Plan wisely. |

Well, I picked SV cause it's not Washington DC! Those were basically my choices in my new job. Rather go out west in the middle of nowhere than put up with that mess in DC. Meant almost half the pay, but then again-- it's around the same amount for cost of living! |
