Was re-alphabetizing my movie collection last night and blew the dust off a Will Smith/Gene Hackman flick: enemy of the State..
damn me for a fool, but that Jerry Bruckheimer is a prescient sonofabitch!!.. THe film was all bout the Patriot Act [ name changed to save his ass, of course ] but, damn... Everything the film was postulating as ' evil ' and lil Willie worked to quash the Bill before the big bad government could shove it through to the detriment of good americans everywhere, has now come to pass under Dubya.. and I though Conspiracy Theory was a bit of a fantasy... who'da thought they were ' documentaries '? scary ... There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |
