I've had cow tongue pickled and I ate it cuz I didn't know what it was. Probably won't eat it again.
And I was thinking that that cow had some nice teeth too. |

I've never eaten it pickled..I usually roast mine, or have bought it sliced for sandwiches.

Used to eat a lot of organ and other meats. My Grandad was kinda the local butcher and meat cutter when I was growing up.
Tounge, Brains (with eggs), Liver, Heart. I refuse to eat that stuff now. Oh yea anybody ever eat homemade head cheese or blood sausage? NASTY BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, YOU JUST MIGHT GET IT! |

the only 'organs' i can stand are when I buy a whole chicken or turkey and since I hate to waste anything will go ahead and boil them and chop them up and put them in stuffing.
I have seen and smelled headcheese and haggis..um..no thanks.. but I do love menudo. |
