I loved Legos when I was a kid, and always tried to build military stuff like tanks and ships. Of course, that was before the advent of gray lego blocks. My tanks were red, yellow and blue. I always wondered why Lego didn't produce military sets. When Legoland in California contacted me about a military discount offer, I asked them why they don't have military-themed Lego sets. They said it's because the company doesn't want to promote military/war stuff to kids. I can understand that, but I think such sets would be good sellers.

I agree, I would've loved to buy military themed Lego sets. My question is, if they don't want to promote war/military stuff, why would you make an entire line dedicated to Star WARS?
Just because its a fictional war is that better? I think a Pathetic Genius Knob is an accurate description. Holy lots of Legos and lonely life, Batman! "Brave Rifles! Veterans! You have been baptized in Fire and Blood, and come out Steel!" |
