I'd like to tell you about HOOAH!!!! Radio, a free internet-based radio station Saluting our Soldiers and Supporting their Families. HOOAH!!!! Radio brings another way for families and soldiers to connect with one another, another way for us to salute our men and women of the US Military and Allied Forces being active duty or a veteran, and to act as a source of entrtainment, directed towards their interests and personalities. For them, by them and their families.
Dom, the station owner, is a 10 year U.S. Army veteran and knows what it's like to be alone, and our son was recently deployed to Iraq, serving in the US Army 4th ID, Ft Hood Texas, our wish for him and other members of the U.S. Military & Allied Forces from all branches serving in all parts of the world, is to feel a personal connection and have an active part in the station as well as their families….to help them feel that are not separated from Home and Country. HOOAH!!!! Radio also give veterans a chance to feel connected, to participate once in again in the sacred and bonded brotherhood that will always bind us together. HOOAH!!!! Radio is commencing OPERATION "RIP OFF THE KNOB". Taking the internet by storm one soldier and one family member at a time, Shock and Awe baby! Stay tuned and hold on tight for the ride. We are privately-owned and operated by volunteers. We are Not For Profit Organization, our operating costs are covered by donations and corporate sponsors. Our goal is to also bring awareness and contribute to the many worthy non profit organizations that benefit the Troops and their Families. We invite you to become part of our HOOAH!!!! Radio family - by becoming a sponsor, an advertiser, a HOOAH!!!! Radio Staff member and as always a dedicated listener! HOOAH!!!! Radio strives to provide the best music and most entertaining Disc Jockey's on the World Wide Web. No, you won't find just a random play list of songs we continually play over and over again like some other online radio stations. Each Disc Jockey at HOOAH!!!! Radio will bring their own personality and unique taste of music. But most of all it's "LIVE." Whether you're at home, at work, in the field, or in garrison you are always guaranteed the widest selection of music and personalities. Also, we will be playing customized "Shoutouts" by the Troops and their Families. We have the advantage of having "on demand" dedications with our Shoutouts. A "Shoutout" is a recording where most anyone with a computer can record their message, their voice, email it to the HOOAH Radio, and it will be played FREE throughout our broadcasts and also can be played on request. With other media that broadcast messages of soldiers to their families, the person waiting to hear or see it may miss it, they have to wait with anticipation to see or hear it and usually end up missing it or not even hearing it at all because it was never aired. We provide two different types of feeds for our listeners, Stereo @ 96k for higher bandwidth listeners and Mono @ 24k for our lower bandwidth listeners. Listening requires safe and free internet sound software. Which you can download free under our "Click Here To Listen" section of the site. We here at HOOAH!!!! Radio know how dedicated you are when it comes to supporting our troops so I thought I'd introduce you to the best damn radio station on the World Wide Web!!! www.hooahradio.com HOOAH!!!!
