I just saw this pic and thought it was pretty cool, so I figured I'd show it. Does anyone know what kind of fish it is?? There is no story to the pic... A witty saying proves nothing - Voltaire |

quote: oh that one I can't even remember where I got it but I remember I had it in my puter. I am not that good at figuring stuff out for the first time either, but once I do then it's all gravy. I do remember that particular fish WAS caught in Oklahoma somewhere...in Lake Texoma I believe.. I wouldn't put on a pic of some of the fish I have caught on a site either.. |

Amy, That is a "wels" or Danube River Catfish, I looked it up in my copy of the Dorling Kindersley Fishing Encyclopedia. They get 300 lbs.

quote: Yep, halibut .... I had a buddy that was stationed in Adak, Alaska - he fished for those all of the time, he said any under 60 pounds were called a "chicken" and thrown back! Snipes! Heaven won't have us and Hell's afraid we'll take over! |
