Another weathermangump story: Back in the day
I was at a Linda Ronstadt concert in Fort Worth. Linda introduced her 'backup' singer Emmylou and stated that it was Emmylou's last gig as a backup singer as she should be out front.

I'd seen Emmylou umpteen times since... through our turning grey.

Years later...I worked with Steve Earle's cousin
Wade out in Midland.

He's a fine astrophotographer and did some awesome shots of the great comet Hale-Bopp...and I know a girl that bought a guitar off Steve in his crack-head daze.

Steve does write some good tunes.

I liked his 'Copperhead Road'

That Dolly sure is a dolly eh?! Cute picture of Linda long before she became addicted to Crisco oil . She sure used to be a cutie! Hell, all of them still are I suppose. Nice info as well.
