Some years ago, i used to send goodies that you could ony get in the UK to a buddy of mine stateside of the pond.

I often wonder what you guys yearn for, or even wonder if you could get hold of that you can't get in the US. So here is your chance, ask me, i'll try to help.

My Wife used to go nuts for a product could "Fluff", it was in a jar, and it ws spreadable marshmallow. Beef jerky is something i got taste for, Coors Beer, cant get it here, and Canadian Molson Dry.

So come on guys, we have an excellent opportunity to set up a swap/trading post here. What do you think?

Coors? I think it has a dill pickle after taste. We can get British beer here. It's pretty expensive, with the import duty added on. Do you guys have root beer over there, or is that an American thing?

Root beer, now that something i haven't tasted in a long long time.

Macdonalds used to sell it when they first opened, then they withdrew the product due to lack of demand, wow thats over 20 years ago, thats the last time i tasted it.

So what British beers do you like, or have tried?

There's a drive-in restaurant chain called Dog & Suds that has the best root beer anywhere (in my opinion). My experience with British beer is rather limited. Whitbread was pretty good. I also developed a taste for Watney's Stout. Actually, it was called Cream Stout. It goes down smooth, but has a kick. I haven't had that in awhile. It's around $35 per case. I've heard that Thomas Hardy's is supposed to be the best British beer, but you can't find it around here. I've also heard that it goes for up to $10 a pint even in England. That's out of my range.
