Okay.. can't believe its been a year already, but... the Good Padre returns from her posting this weekend to take up new duties closer to home [ new office, bump up in responsibilities and deff step closer to the promotion ] - good for her..

BUT, I'm only 2/3 through the " Honey-Do " list she left me when she posted out last June.. and there's no F*^%kin way I'm going to get the rest done over the weekend...so..

Do I feign a heart attack.. claim Alzheimers.. . the dog ate the list... move in with the hot young blonde down the block before she arrives????

What to Do??

Anyone got a spare bedroom I can hide out in... preferably as far away from present location as possible??

too busy boozing it up celebrating America having whupped the British 200 plus years ago, over the weekend, to lend a desperate guy a hand.

I got right royally reamed for not having completed the 'assigned tasks' and had to sit through two hours of how disappointed she was in my efforts.. felt like I was back in grade school..

currently sleeping in the basement with the dog and she's only been home a day!!!

at least she's shut up now, 'cause she's tired from moving all her stuff and setting up her new office...looks like her promo to Light Colonel is in the pipeline..so she's busy polishing her CV and completing her BFT so the paperwork is in order.

gawd.. there's gonna be no living with her..figuratively speaking.. in reality I'm apparently stuck with her and still not off the hook for the rest of the list..

well, it is 2130 hours.. time to open another bottle of scotch...
