Well, while you lot South of the 49th are , once more hunched over the keyboard and staring into the plasma/lcd displays afore you. I'm kicking back in the True North as we Canuckistani's celebrate Thanksgiving Canajan style.
No visions of Pilgrims and benevolent Natives chowing down on turkey and ' punkin pie '.. nope, we're salivating over good traditional fare, not sullied by American cultural interference or pollution..If it was good enough for Martin Frobisher and the Innuit in the Arctic back on that first Thanksgiving, its good enough for True Canadians... I'd save you all a slice, but this stuff goes fast so there may be ought but crumbs. Yup.. nothing like little cubes of whale blubber on triscuits as a pre-dinner snack, Beaver Tail and Moose Nose souflle, BBQ Polar Bear steaks and a dessert of Seal Flipper Pie all washed down with a thick green Spruce Beer [ 12.5% Alcohol ] to say ' Thank'ee Lord ! 'then munching on pine nuts, berries and deep fried squirrel bellies while watching Pam Anderson: The Early Years [ Special Playboy Collectors' Edition Boxed DVD with Commentary ] I'd stay and chat, but the lads are putting together a pick-up game of Lacrosse on the neighbour's cul de sac and I just got to go and crack a few heads in the melee..Can't have a celebration of Thanksgiving without a good round or two of Canada's National Sport.[ well next to making fun of Americans, it's the national sport. ].. There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |

Isent it illegal even for natives to hunt polar bears. The consequences for hunting polar bears in the US is almost as bad is killing a human.

HaHa, rrpearso..
you fuzzy headed numnil, you.. You obviously have never been to Churchill Manitoba.. the polar bears in spring are more numerous than the locals and take over the town dump for a buffet picnic.. These days of global warming means that the bears have less ice to float on and fewer seals to chow down on, so leftover McDonalds with fries makes for an interesting snack.. and, if soem curious tourist with a digicam gets too close for that cute bear shot, well, lunch just got better. Walt Disney has a lot to answer for... There I was , at the head of the old 68th... |
