Pylon races are exciting...the speed...the danger...the graceful sleek birds.

I've always loved the P-51 Mustang.
I do miss the Midland airshows.

Wow bad ass indeed, finally a positive topic. Doing this is my life goal, air race piloting really boils down to cash, a 2/3 scale thunder mustang is about 275K and an extra 300 is about 230K (the red bull plane) so its the financial equivalent to a second home. Wow this is enough to make your skin tingle and these air races are free of currant military air craft which is even better. Watching something you can never buy or never fly is a waste of time and does not do much for me anymore. Authentic P-51's are nice but they are about a million bucks so thats getting pretty steep for a plane and you are really paying for the collector value because an extra 300 will perform just as well if not better.

Bad ass to all you pilots out there. Weatherman are you a pilot, I had to get out of it for awhile to pay off some debt but im defiantly going to get myself an extra 300 in 5 years or so.
