While deployed to defend the nation in a time of need it seems that you can be reported to the credit reporting agencies. All of my debts were brought up to date prior to redeployment, and the actions by the creditors seems to be justified. Upon redeployment my previous credit score of 798 has been reduced to the useless score of 512. WHY?? The bills were paid during my deployment!! It seems that the servine members of the currently at war nation have no rights due them for being out of the country, guess next time I'll tell them I can't deploy because I need to stay home to fight big business!! Any suggestions or any where to find help on this issue.

You can appeal the results but too many subjective factors make up the score. This site will give you an idea of what is up, though, not tell you all.

during my deployment to Iraq a tornado hit my house and USAA refused to pay for my roof repairs, so we had to fix the roof $2000, and that was just a reshingle! Of course that put us behind but before I redeployed all was paid up to date! During my deployment to Afghanistan our tenents in our rental skipped out on 5 months worth of fent, once again of course that put us behind, but as before we paid all uo to date before redeployment! Still no avail the lenders told me even though we gave them orders for my deployment and all, you should pay your bills! There is no relief for a deployed soldier fighting for the nation, even though you are ordered to foreign soil by uncle sam you still need to be here to protect yourself from big business. Next time I'm gonna tell them the fight is at home with big business I CAN'T GO!! The revised service members civil relief act is also mis understood, especially with the Army, and NO ONE will even represent me with the act!

I would just get out of the military as soon as you can. That way you can reestablish your credit and get control of your rentals. The argument can go both ways for the military or for buisness. the military likes to use the whole your fighting for the country routine, but there is no need for 1 and 2 year deployments if the conflict were planned out and our leaders had any brains you would only have 3 or at the most 6 month deployments (that were not back to back) you would likely not be having the problems you are having. Buisnesses are in buisness to make money not cover for the missmanagment of the military.

And BTW the whole operation in iraq is not fighting to defend our country it is operation try to force something down there throat that they dont want, what they really want it so be bombed into the stone age, the only check points the military should have been manning were on and off the oil fields and the military gate guards should have been making davis bacon wages. We should take notes from isreal.

I thought this was a good article that illistrates recruitment.

Of course it does not address the stop loss issues, are you really signing up for 15 months or for 10 years? Of course it doesnt really matter if you walk away.

Despite providing somewhat useless advice to the question posed, and your non-sensical ramblings about the conduct of the war, the article was an interesting read.

lumpy: Don’t ask questions for which you do not whish answers. If you just wanted to rant – than have the balls to rant and try not to be deceptive about it.

rppearso: You are once again the fool and trying to change the topic so it is about you. Forget it, because I would rather not engage in discussion with someone who does not really understand the language.

I dont know if anyone caught that, but the answer to his question is that simple. Its like asking the question why are my feet burning as I stand in this fire.

The rest was the justification for the answer.

Also the student loan debt they were quoting was way low, I know alot of people with debt exceeding 40,000 and myn was 73,000 for a bachlors.

So the military would have to answer that debt in full for 15 months with no reserves time and no stop loss.

yep, it was ranked one of the best schools for chemical engineering in 99 and they did not offer the major in my state. I had to pay 73K and I had a half ride. It was worth it though, I am on my way to becoming a PE by age 28 and will probably go for a masters or PhD in physics some time afterwards.

Good on you, just remember to not start any rants about student loans in here, as no one twisted yer arm to take them out.
