Hey, all. It's Trish Edmisten, and I need your help. As you know, I'm a Fresno CA author. I made the decision to donate 100% of the royalties from the sales of my first novel, Letters from Linc, to our nation's military hosptials. Two years have passed. It's still going strong, but more soldier's support groups need help. That's why I need your help. I'm working on my next book. I'd love to hear from all who've served, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan and those who've been wounded. I'd like to hear your experiences with your service and get the right perspective I need to make this feel authentic. For you peace of mind, I will not use your specific experience. All those who contact me will be acknowledged in my book. And like I did with Letters from Linc, I'll be donating 100% of the royalties, except this time they'll go to the Solider's Angels group. If you're interested in talking to me, I'd be honored and grateful. You can reach me by email at trishe@trishedmisten.com. Thanks in advance for your help and thanks for your service.

In the 1970s, several psychoanalysts argued that narcissistic personality disorder occurs across a continuum and is not impervious to treatment -- a theory that continues to be refined. Today, therapists say, patients who receive a diagnosis of the disorder remain among the most challenging to help because they often believe their problem is that others never sufficiently recognize how special they are. In childhood they had been deprived of essential emotional sustenance; as adults, their arrogance, sense of entitlement and exhibitionistic tendencies spring from the deepest humiliation.

She can't use spell check (odd for an author), but her heart's in the right place? |

Wow! Getting picky about the lack of spell check? That was not something I expected and kind of hurt a little. In my defense, I guess all I can say is that at 75wpm, my fingers think ahead of my brain sometimes, and I'm not as vigilant as I should be. Thanks for taking the time to read the post and offer that helpful reply. You can bet I'll be more careful in the future. Apologies again, and thanks to those of you who've contacted me to help me get this project off the ground.

And all is forgiven. At least you came back to check on your post. Many come through the forums with a book plug and then disappear....And it appears your legitimate as well (though the interwebs can lie sometimes....).
